Recommended Image Sizes:

• Background and Home page: Min 1920px wide or 1200px high. Crop to a landscape shape approximately the dimensions of a computer screen.
  Can be larger or a little smaller. But too much smaller and the quality will look bad on large screens.
  And too much larger and the page will take too long to load. 
• Gallery: About 840px wide for portrait or 780px high for landscape to avoid long load times for users.
• If possible save for web.
• JPG is the best file type to use for your images to achieve the smallest size. A quality of about 75 is fine and helps reduce the file size.
